Our Principles
This plan sets out our vision, purpose, and values, together with our strategic goals for the future. It is the driver for achieving the four key components we believe are essential to meeting the needs of our students, staff, stakeholders, and our communities the length and breadth of our costal region.
Our priorities are:
• To ensure that we have the appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of our young pupils
To ensure that we have the correct curriculum to meet the needs of industries and employers’ needs, both now and for future roles.
• To be ‘Outstanding’ in order to deliver excellence in teaching and learning for our students and ensure that they progress.
• To remain sustainable financially to support our fantastic industries and people.
• To recruit and retain high-calibre staff.
Our reputation is also important to our future success. Working closely with school’s, industry and employers, communicating well with stakeholders, and meeting the needs of our local communities will ensure that we remain at the centre of training and education across the nation. In the past 4 months, we have strengthened our position by:
• Working with industry leaders in Construction, Childcare, Sport and Hospitality
• Developing a team of hungry, enthusiastic staff who are industry relevant.
• Our students, staff, and Rosscon now benefit from using digital portfolios and an MIS system.
• We are working with Local Authority to assess every student’s brain development so that no person is left behind.
• We have listened to industry and implemented a curriculum for jobs now and in the future.
Rosscon Training LTD is a new provider; however, we have a wealth of knowledge inside it, we know with the staff who have chosen to work with us we will deliver on our strategic plans through, passion, care, enthusiasm, and the culture of relentless pursuit of excellence.

Why Was Rosscon Started?
Danny Rossie created RossCon Training after years of working in the Further Education sector. He has successfully worked at two outstanding OFSTED colleges. However, this wasn’t enough and along with his team he set his sights on a training provider that would meet the needs of industries, working closer with employers, listening to their needs and breaking the back of the skills shortage.
Danny’s ethos and mantra is to absolutely leave no one behind, his passion and focus is to ensure every young person regardless of their previous education experiences or bad decision making is held back, he believes in supporting every person to be their best possible selves, training new skills in thriving sectors, new and old, so that our communities prosper through high wages and employment.
