Hair, Beauty and Barbering

Our Hair, Beauty and Barbering pathway is delivered through VTCT, one of the leading awarding organisations for vocational qualifications in the hair and beauty sector. This course is ideal for learners who enjoy creative, practical and client-focused work.
Students develop a range of skills including hair preparation, styling, basic beauty treatments, barbering techniques, personal presentation, hygiene, customer service and salon professionalism. The course also supports learners to build confidence, communication skills and an understanding of how to work safely and professionally within a salon environment.
Qualifications are generally available from Entry Level 3 through to Level 2, depending on the learner’s starting point and pathway. Learners are supported to develop practical competence, confidence and industry awareness, preparing them for further training, apprenticeships or employment within hair, beauty or barbering.
